Sometimes because of pride or ego or a mistaken idea, one person may not confide in another or tell them the whole truth. Have you ever been in a situation in which you didn’t want the other person to know something about you? You had something you wanted to keep secret? How did you act? Did the other person realize you were hiding something? How did your behavior change the way they acted toward you?

It has happened to me alot. I dont really think im going to tell you about the situations that have occured because well other people can read this. It is kind of hard when you do not want someone to find out something about you. I will explain why its hard and the way it can effect your attitude.

Well when i dont want someone to know something about me i act kind of different around them. I try to avoid subjects that could bring up the thing i dont want to know. I sometimes just dont talk around them that much because i dont want it to accidently slip out. Sometimes people can just tell if im keeping a secret from them so they confront me about it.

If they ever find out they kind of do act different around me. It depeneds on what it is though. Sometimes they get mad and keep things from you to make it even. Sometimes if it is just a stupid little thing that if they found out wouldn't change anything it just embarresses me they, they tend to tease me for not telling them or they just forget about it. So in a way i should always try my hardest not to keep things from people because it could end up getting people mad at you.

Describe your best or worst Halloween costume ever. Use lots of details and explain why it was so awesome or lame.

I think that my best one was when I dressed up like a dead cheerleader. It was so awesome! i remember it so well because when i was a kid i HATED cheerleaders so i wanted to be a dead one. I am pretty sure that the people that saw me thought i was the coolest dead cheer leader they have ever seen. I will explain what i looked like and stuff.

I first had this long sleeved white shirt with red writing and a red skirt with a white line. Then i had a like all ratted hair. Then I had blood all over my face. I found these fake like sticky scab type things and i put them all over my face. Then i got a thing that looked like a nail through my head and put it on my fore head.

When i went to get candy people kept asking me what i was dressed up as it was weird i mean seriously its pretty freaking obvious if you ask me. I scared my little brother i think. I think it was awesome because i really looked dead and i looked way awesome! Best costume choice of my life.

I have read Breaking Dawn Before. Its number 2 on the top ten. I like that book alot but i like the other ones too. The series is amazing i love reading about them. I love how exciteing the books are.

The reason i like this book is because it totally like pulls you into it if that makes sence. It kind of makes you not want to stop reading because its so intense. I also think i like it because there is alot of things that bella does that you can relate to. Its the kind of book that you kind of feel like your a charactor in it acting out the part or something.

I think that teenagers around the world voted for it because its an exciting book and its just flat out a great book. I think that they also voted it because its the book in the series that bella finally turns into a vampire and because they get married and she has a baby. Maybe they voted on it because of the intensity of it. They could have voted on it because they like to read about love stories and they are in love with edward. It could also be the fact that every one likes a story that captures your atention and this is one of those stories.

It seems like reading Edgar Allen Poe stories around Halloween is a rite of passage for students in English classes. He wrote poems such as "The Raven" and "Annabel Lee" and stories like "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Black Cat", "The Fall of the House of Usher", "The Cask of Amontillado", "The Masque of the Red Death", "The Pit and the Pendulum", etc.If you have read Poe stories before, which ones have you read and what do you remember of them? I think that I have read "The Raven" and 'The Cask Of Amontillado". It was while ago when i read the storys and I am pretty sure that it's Edgar Allen Poe that I was reading but im not sure. I think one of them was about a man that had to be locked up somewhere for a really long time and he would get paid money but he left a day before the time limit and so he didn't get paid or something but its like a freaky story.

The other one was about like a man that hated another man. He went where the man was and murdered him. Then he went in like a dungeon and got killed or something like that Im not quiet sure. I think that the man was just like going crazy or something if i remember right and he went into the mans bedroom while he was sleeping and killed him.

If what i read was by Mr. Poe then I am kind of excited to read more of them because they were kind of freaky and they had a great halloweeny touch to them. The only thing is, is that they were kind of confusing but since we will be reading them out loud i am excited. I thought his books were pretty cool and i hope that they are scary! I love scary stories!!!!!

Every day the humans get in a big object that appears to be a giant bug. The bug has big round legs that spin around when it moves. The bug makes a noise when the human puts a key in it, it makes a bg grunting noise. I have rode inside of one of my humans bugs and it travels very fast. I hear them saying all the time "Get in the car!". So my guess is that its called a "car bug". The humans get in the "car bug" everyday and they don't get back till late. I wonder sometimes where the "car bug" takes them.

Another thing that gets me wondering about those humans is they talk to themselves all the time. They hold up these little things to their ears and they actually have conversations with themselves! They call these little things "phones" and they just talk and talk for hours on end to themselves. The thing I find amusing is that they call us weird for drinking out of the toilet but at least we have a reason for it!

Call me crazy but I just can never understand those humans i mean they do the weirdest things! Not to mention the clothes they wear! Its like they robbed savers or something. I don't think I will ever be able to understand the way peoples brains function. What ever they learn in school... its defiantly not working!

I think Katie Muhlestien is a true item of beauty. I mean some people might not see it but I can see that she really does have something to offer. I mean ya she can be a little bit mean sometimes and maybe she even has midget thumbs but other then that she has it all.



Lots of people look at Katie and probably hate her because she is so pretty and they must think she is a snob. If they would actaully sit down with Katie and take the time to get to know her then maybe they would be able to see what i see in her... true beauty. She has a soul as sweet as chocolate. She is always laughing even if what ever she is laughing at isn't really funny. She might maybe discriminate against some certain blonde people on the volleyball team but other than that she is a nice person.

So some people might not think that katie is lovely. That is only because they have not gotten to know her yet! Take the time to get to know the people around you! You never know they could turn out to be one of your best friends!!!!

I actaully have known a secret that i should tell. It is really hard knowing something that I really think that I should tell but not being able to tell anyone. In most situations I think that if the secret was just a normal secret then it would not be hard to not tell anyone because I dont really tell peoples secrets if they dont want me to tell. This one though, for some reason, is a lot harder to keep to myself and not tell someone about it.

The only reason it is harder is because not telling could cause someone to get hurt and telling could cause alot of drama and cause the person to get hurt. I personally think that if someone tells you a secret you should keep it to your self and not go spread it around because in all honesty, its not your secret to tell. If you go off telling people things it soon gets around to everyone and it could actaully ruin a persons life because rumors start and its just not good.

If someone tells you a secret in confidence then you really shouldn't tell. Even if it is like a dangerous secret you should not tell unless you think that someone will be killed if you dont tell but really you should let whoever the secret is about tell someone its not your job to tell.

Dear Journal,

I have a secret.... For me to tell you the secret i will have to explain how this has happened. I have married Romeo. I know this is not going to be good once our families find out but i don't care. I love him. My heart yearns for him. My life with out him is like a broken pencil... pointless. Call me crazy but i know that i can't be apart from him.

I know this sounds crazy but when I'm not with him, my heart hurts! That's why it is very important that no one finds out about this. Romeo and I will both be punished greatly maybe even killed. I can't let that happen. The strangest thing is that when ever I am with him i just cant help smiling. He says the cutest things and when ever i see him i just get so happy.

I don't find it possible for my family and his to ever get along witch is why this was all so confusing at first but whatever happens I will always love him and nothing can change that. He is all that I ever think about and I cant even explain all the feelings I have when I am around him I know I'm young but I know the feelings I'm feeling are love that's why I married him.

9th grade:Do you believe in Fate? Are there certain things in life that, once set in motion, are inevitable; things that cannot be stopped once they are started? The story of Romeo and Juliet implies that the path of their love and what happens to them is part of Fate's plan. Do you think this is possible?

Yes i do believe in fate. I believe that everything happens for a reason but i think that a persons fate can change depending on their actions. I think that after you have made your decisions then you also choose your fate. Just like when you do something you choose to do it there fore you are also choosing if the consequence is going to be good or bad.

I believe in fate for somethings but not for others. I think that you don't really choose to love someone you just fall in love with them and you can't really help your self so its fate. When you are sitting some where and someone offers a beer or something and you take it because you think its your fate then no i don't think fate made you take it.

This is how i feel about fate. I know other people have different opinions but that one is my opinion. So I just want to say one more thing about fate. Choose wisely because you choose your own fate not your parents you so make sure that what your doing is the best thing for you to be doing because one little bad decision can change the out come of your fate.

I believe true love exist. I believe that true love is when you see that special person walks in the room you light up and you just know.... I think that true love is also when you can't even go a second with out thinking about that person they are always on your mind. I don't really know though because I have never really been in "love".

I see it all the time! I am pretty sure that my parents are truly in love. Every time they see each other no matter how mad or happy or mad they are at each other there eyes still light up. I think that true love is real and that people really do find true love they just gotta keep looking and they will find it.

Those are the reasons that i know true love exist. I see it everyday with my parents and aunts and uncles. Some people think its really cheesy but once you find the special person you become part of the cheesiness. Since I have never been in love.... i still find it pretty cheesy! All in all i still know that true love is out there! I believe in true love!! Look around you and you will see it too!

9th grade:If you had one superpower, what would it be and why? (Hint: describe exactly what your power would be, why you would want that one, what you would use your power for, etc. Would you be good or evil? Would you use it just for fun or for a good cause?)

If I could pick one super out of all the other super powers I would want to be able to like snap my fingures and be where ever I wanted to be. I think that it would be way awesome to have that because then I could be where ever I want when ever I want with who ever i want! I could go to china and back just to get rice or hawaii to sit on the beach. I would be able to bring people with me if they are standing next to me though so I wouldn't be places all alone.

I could use my powers for good or evil depending on my mood. I would probably mostly use them for good since I would probably always be in a good mood being able to be where ever i want to be when ever. The ways i can use my powers for good are: 1. saves my parents gas money 2. go support peoples games like say my friend had a baseball game and i was watching t.v. i could go back and forth between commercials 3. I would never be late to volleyball and have to run 4. I could see my best friend elle and jace and ike and seabae more often! 5. and i can see my cousins from TN more often. 

I think that I would use my powers for evil sometimes because I would just be feeling evil some days. I would use them to maybe pop in on people when they dont expect it and take funny pictures of them and show the world. I think thats probably all I would do evil. So I guess thats what I would do with my super powers!

9th Grade: What comes to your mind when you hear the words, "Now we're going to read Shakespeare!" Do you cringe in fear? Do you giggle with glee? What past experiences have you had with Shakespeare to make you react the way you do?

When I hear the words "Now we're going to read Shakespeare" I get mixed feelings. I have only read one story by Shakespeare called "A Mid-Summer Nights Dream" i thought all in all it was a pretty good story but I didn't really understand some of the words. I read it a long time ago so i faintly remember it. I just get a little nervous that i might fail because i cant understand the book.

I think that if we have like maybe a couple days to read it and we have discussions in class on it like we did in our other class when we where reading a hard book then I think most of us will be alright. I just am a little scared because I'm a good reader and all i just if i can't get into a book i get bored. I am also scared that we will start reading it and i will get lost and fall behind the class because of volleyball or other stuff.


I do get a little excited to be able to find out for my self what really happens in "Romeo and Juliet". There is also a lot of talk about it being really boring so im kind pumped to find out what i think about it. So all in all i just have mixed feelings because i wanna read it but i don't at the same time.
